Business Incubator

The KazNMU Business Incubator is a structural division of the Science and Technology Park, a member of the Association of Business Incubators, and offers comprehensive business programs for students and anyone interested in developing startup projects. The incubation programs are designed to assist participants in developing their ideas and turning them into successful products. Anyone can undergo training at the business incubator, turn their idea into a real business plan, and find an investor!

Mission:

To support and develop startups and projects aimed at improving the quality of medical services, introducing new technologies, and enhancing public health.

Goals:

  • Support the development and implementation of innovative medical projects: Create conditions for the accelerated growth of startups in the medical field.
  • Facilitate collaboration between faculties, research centers, and clinical departments: Implement interdisciplinary projects.
  • Provide training in entrepreneurship, innovation, and project management in medicine: Develop critical thinking, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Support the commercialization of scientific research: Offer consultations on patenting, licensing, and marketing innovative medical products.
  • Create a network of experienced mentors, investors, and partners: Support projects at all stages of development.
  • Monitor the progress of incubated projects: Assess the effectiveness and impact of projects on medical practice and public health.

The Business Incubator regularly conducts an acceleration program, which any entrepreneur with a viable business idea can join. In 2024, the following projects successfully completed the acceleration program:
1. Development and production of a breast disease simulator.
2. Development and production of an auscultation trainer.
3. Development and production of a laparoscopy simulator.
4. Multifunctional 12-channel ECG Ar-Cor 100 with telemetry function.

  1. Organization of the production of a therapeutic and cosmetic product with graphene nanoparticles for drug delivery.
  2. Polymer biocompatible implant for the treatment of inflammatory eye diseases.
  3. New intramedullary locking rod for the prevention of post-traumatic fat embolism in osteosynthesis.
  4. Air-abrasive dental handpiece.
  5. Project for the production of a finished product based on the plant raw material Cistanche deserticola.
  6. Development of technology for wound-healing hydrogel plaster.
  7. Development of technology for therapeutic and preventive toothpaste.
  8. Development and production of a breast disease simulator.
  9. Development and production of an auscultation trainer.
  10. Development and production of a laparoscopy simulator.
  11. Development of a platform for evaluating skill algorithms.
  12. Multifunctional 12-channel ECG Ar-Cor 100 with telemetry function.
  13. Cinema club.
  14. Commercialization of the scientific research laboratory of ion-ozone electro-, nano-, torsion engineering medicine and pharmacy with the creation of therapeutic and preventive specialized wards (tuberculosis, traumatology, purulent surgery, diabetes, oncology, cardiovascular diseases, etc.).
