Rector KazNMU Akanov A.A has welcomed the participants of the Winter School and he made a presentation on «Public Health — policy framework competitiveness of Kazakhstan.»
As part of the VI Winter School program head of the «Policy and health care management» department Turdalieva B.S. spoke with presentation on «The results of the organization and conducting of the annual international winter school». Then participants of the Winter School listened the report of Vice-President of the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition Siniavskii Y.A «Nutritional aspects of the health risks of high consumption of trans-fatty acids.»
Also, during the second day of Winter School head of the department «Nutrition» Kaynarbaevf M.S. has conducted seminar «Feeding habits of students». Also here were provided other seminars “The use of food additives in food and their effects on health”, “The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the prevention of nutrition-related diseases”, “The problem of overweight and obesity. Comprehensive prevention” by associate professors of the department “Nutrition” Kaynarbaeva M.S., Berdigaliev A.B., Ushanskaya E.Y. respectively.
