On September 19-23, 2018, Fergana hosted the final international scientific-practical conference and monitoring of the project “ModeHEd- Modernization of medical education in universities” in the framework of the European Union Erasmus + program, which was attended by our teachers from the Department of Internal Diseases № 3 ”Dr. med., Professor Kasymova G.P. by disciplines: «Sports medicine and physical culture hygiene»; «Therapeutic physical culture and physical culture hygiene»; Head of the Department “Normal physiology with a course of valeology” Ph.D., associate professor Ryspekova Sh.O., associate professor of the department “Public Health and Healthcare” Ph.D., Kozhekenova Zh.A. The meeting was also attended by the grandholder of the project from Germany — Klaus Haenssgen (HTWK), the financial manager of the project — MarinaI vanova (HTWK), AlisherYunusov (FSU), Č.Štuka (CUNI, 1LF UK, Praha), J. On September 20, 2018, on the basis of the Fergana State University (Fergana), progress reports were heard and the issues of ensuring the project’s sustainability strategy were discussed. On September 21, 2018, sections of the conference courses were discussed. On September 22, 2018, in Bukhara, a meeting was held with the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Avicenna, Ph.D. InayatovAmrilloShodievich. During the meeting, issues of further development of inter-project relations and international cooperation were discussed. Partners from the city of Bukhara organized a tour of Bukhara — one of the oldest cities in Central Asia and the museum of the homeland of Abu Ali Ibn Sina in the village of Afshan, near Bukhara.
