At the first day of Professor, Advisor of Rector KazNMU on public health Meimanalyiev T.S. spoke on theme «Behavioral risk factors(hypertension, overweight, diabetes) devoted to actual issues of public health, health promotion and illness prevention. Also in continuation seminar»Mental Healthand Prevention ofstress» was led by assistant of the Department «Communication skills, the basicsof psychotherapy, general and medical psychology» Bagiyarova F.V. In conclusion of the first working day the participantsof the Winter Schoolvisited the museumKazNMU where they learned history, achievements, tradition and names of university veterans.
On the second day the opening ceremony was held. Akanov A.A. — Rector of AsfendiyarovKazNMU made a presentation on theme «Public Health — policy framework competitiveness of Kazakhstan.»
As part of theVIWinter School programhead of the «Policy and health care management» department TurdalievaB.S. spoke with presentation on «The results of the organization and conducting ofthe annual internationalwinter school». Then participants ofthe Winter Schoollistened the report of Vice-President of the Kazakh Academy of NutritionSiniavskiiY.A «Nutritional aspects ofthe health risksof high consumption oftrans-fattyacids.»
Also, during the second day of Winter School head of the department «Nutrition» KaynarbaevaM.S. has conducted seminar «Feeding habits of students». Also here were provided other seminars “The use offood additives infood andtheir effects on health”, “The prevalence ofiron deficiency anemiain the Republic ofKazakhstan and thepreventionof nutrition-relateddiseases”, “The problem of overweightand obesity.Comprehensiveprevention” by associate professors of the department “Nutrition” KaynarbaevaM.S., BerdigalievA.B., UshanskayaE.Y. respectively.
On the third day of the VI AnnualInternationalWinterSchool»Actual problems ofpublic health: health promotion and disease prevention(behavioral risk factors)»associate professor of the «Health care policy and management» Department Altynbekova U.A. has carried out seminar-training on “Reproductive health and rights, prevention of STIs and HIVinfection”. Also in continuation report of ofthe «Health care policy and management» Department senior lecturerRamazanova M.A. on theme “Prevention oflow physical activity” was listened and discussed and here was training by principle “Equal to equal”.
At the end of program teachers of our department Turegeldiyeva M., Yussupova N., Kassieva B organized flashmob“Prevention oflow physical activity” in which took part students, master’s students and teachers of «Health care policy and management» Department.
As part of the program of the VI AnnualInternationalWinterSchool on the fourth day seminar-training “Prevention ofalcoholism and smoking” was conducted byspecialist of Evidence-based medicinecenterBaisugurova V.Y., leading specialistIzmukhanbetov T.A. and PhD students Mendaliyev N., Igisenova A., Sagyndykova Z. After that participants of VI AnnualInternationalWinterSchool had visited Clinic of Internal Medicine.
Winter School participants visited the Memorial of Glory and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the park to namedafter 28Panfilov Guardsmen.
On the final day of the VI Annual International Winter School held the Olympics «Healthy University».

At the end of 5th day results of VI Annual International Winter School
have been summarized.
Participants of the VI Annual International Winter School on the results of discussion listened presentations noted the critical importance of the discussion of the issues, as well as high practical and scientific value of the University facultyreports.
The high relevance of the discussed issues was noticed and the high level of their presentations, using a variety of interactive learning technologies.
At the end of the VI Annual International Winter School winners of the Olympiad «Healthy University» were awarded diplomas of winners and head of the «Health care policy and management » DepartmentTurdalieva B.S. has presented memorial gifts and certificates to all participants of the Winter School.
The «Resolution of participants VI International Winter School (2015)” was adopted.
Crucial provisions were the inclusion and development of such areas as:
- Creating a coalition of active students
- Starting of studies at several universities
- Address to the rectors to support projects
- Invitations of students to the conference
- Dining recommendations on rational nutrition with students + pricing policy, the project «Zone wholesome food on trays»

- Development of scientific research with the introduction of the results into practice
- Development and transfer of new technology to promote healthy lifestyles through publications, the use of IT technologies
- Creating Student Association for a healthy lifestyle, etc..
