Description : The content of the discipline covers the formation of scientific thinking and the determination of causal relationships based on evidence and the application of evidence-based evidence in clinical practice, as well as conducting an appropriate literature search and critical evaluation of published medical literature in medical information systems.

Description: Having studied the discipline, the graduate will be able to apply scientific principles, statistical methods (descriptive and logical statistics, evaluation of qualitative and quantitative data, correlation and regression analysis), use IT technologies for data analysis, solving problems in clinical medicine and continuous professional development, activities of a doctor, taking into account the laws adopted in society, regulations and ethical standards.
Academic Writing

Description: Having studied the discipline, the graduate will be able to carry out the professional activities of a doctor, taking into account the understanding of the importance of accuracy, clarity and relevance of scientific writing, the correct and appropriate use of grammatical structures of the scientific style of speech. The discipline will develop individual written communication skills of the student. Particular attention will be given to the importance of academic integrity and the prevention of plagiarism .

Description: Having studied the discipline, the graduate will be able to apply the methods, skills of organizing scientific research (planning, purpose and objectives, choice of design / methods, execution schedule, analysis, interpretation, conclusions, writing a report and presentation on the results of the study), using IT technologies in areas of medicine for the search and critical analysis of information and skills in medical information systems.

Description : In the process of passing elective disciplines, students improve their knowledge and skills in the basics and methodology of modern scientific research, consonant with world trends in evidence-based medicine, depending on the priority areas of healthcare in the field of biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and socio-behavioral sciences. Description : The discipline «Observational Clinical Studies» studies the issues of planning, conducting, interpreting the results of observational clinical studies in areas (therapy, pediatrics, surgery, general medical practice, obstetrics and gynecology). Upon completion of the discipline, the student will be able to apply scientific principles, methods and knowledge in medical practice and research, based on the principles of evidence-based medicine.
